I've been to London at least half a dozen times, maybe more - however, similar to how I've lived in NYC for 5 years and have never seen the statue of Liberty, I've never really been a "tourist" in London.
Last week, I actually spent some time exploring the city and walking around - although, I'm still incredibly confused by London's layout!
I spent a lot of time at the Tate Modern, as I've always preferred Modern Art. We were actually here before in May to see the main exhibit, but I wanted to return to see the rest of the museum. The coolest part was there was what I assume to be an art history class at some school touring and all stopping to discuss observations at the various exhibits - I find it fascinating how people can look at the same thing and come to such different conclusions! See below for some of my favorite pieces:
I was also able to catch up with Mandy, possibly one of my oldest friends who has known me for over 20 years. Every time we think about that it seems crazy to us. We met up for a trivia fundraiser night, and unfortunately - I'm not much help, especially for the London-themed questions; however, I did manage to get a few questions right!
(1) How many children do Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have? (Thank you US Weekly for allowing me to know not only the number, but all of their names as well)
(2) What is the most frequently sung song in the Western World. (This was a guess, but I was still proud of myself!)
